Discussion topic- PICO Balloon presentation. We add additional items to the base presentation to include the current flight of NC4ES-6 (Still flying) currently traveling West in Siberia. 

Background:
Matt McMahon, WU2V, is a retired firefighter/paramedic from the City of Greenville NC Fire-Rescue. Matt has been an amateur radio operator since the age of 13 and has filled a wide range of communication support rolls over his career. Matt continues serving the emergency communication sector by working as a disaster and communication specialist for the Eastern Healthcare Preparedness Coalition supporting a twenty-nine county region in Eastern North Carolina. Matt serves as the Eastern Domestic Preparedness Region (DPR) communication representative and serves on the NC Statewide Interoperability Executive Committee (SIEC). . Matt specializes in air to ground public safety communication support and encryption. Matt serves on the Federal Partnership for Interoperable Communications (FPIC) and provides technical guidance for radio encryption across the country. In his spare time, Matt works as a contractor supporting a large Federal agency with Emergency Communications Instruction and Technical support. Matt is a national level Communication Unit Leader (COML), Communication Unit Technician (COMT) and Auxiliary Communication (AUXCOMM) instructor. Matt holds an associate degree in Emergency Management from Wayne Community College. Matt is active with the DHS SHARES program and oversees a variety of radio message server (RMS) and field deployable units. Matt maintains a robust mobile communication vehicle (MCV) that is a state level response resource capable of all mode, all band operations. Matt oversees a variety of radio systems to include a local 800MHz P25 trunking site and a sixteen-site digital mobile radio (DMR) system. Matt has worked and instructed in all areas related to public safety and communications throughout his career.
